<I><B>ROTTNESTIA</B></I> [[Cookson and Eisenack, 1961b]], p.40,42.&nbsp; Taxonomic senior synonyms: <I>[[Hystrichosphaeropsis]]</I>, according to [[Sarjeant, 1966b|Sarjeant (1966b]], p.139) - however, [[Stover and Evitt, 1978|Stover and Evitt (1978]], p.185) retained <I>Rottnestia</I>; <I>[[Triblastula]]</I>, according to [[Yun Hyesu, 1981|Yun Hyesu (1981]], p.22) - however, [[Jan du Ch&#234;ne et al., 1986a|Jan du Ch&#234;ne et al. (1986a]], p.309) retained <I>Rottnestia</I>.&nbsp; [[Jan du Ch&#234;ne et al., 1986a|Jan du Ch&#234;ne et al. (1986a]], p.309) referred to the description of this genus by [[Stover and Evitt, 1978|Stover and Evitt (1978]], p.185) as an emendation, although the latter authors did not indicate it to be an emendation.&nbsp; Type: [[Eisenack, 1954b]], pl.9, fig.5, as <I>[[Hystrichosphaera borussica]]</I>.
