<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>A term used by Evitt (1985) for one of one or two small &lt;I&gt;[[Plate|plates]]&lt;/I&gt; adjacent to the &lt;I&gt;[[anterior]]&lt;/I&gt; edges of the third and fourth precingular &lt;I&gt;[[Homologue|homologues]]&lt;/I&gt; (plates 4 and 5 in the &lt;I&gt;[[Taylor-Evitt tabulation system]]&lt;/I&gt;) of the &lt;I&gt;[[standard gonyaulacalean tabulation]]&lt;/I&gt;. Evitt (1985, p. 98) used the symbols K, Ki and Ku to denote such plates. Herein, incidental plates are labelled according to the standard Kofoid notations or, alternatively, with the Taylor-Evitt derivatives Bu and Ci.
