In dinophysialeans, a pore here termed the ventral pore (and probably homologous with the ventral pore of gonyaulacaleans), but sometimes termed the &lt;I&gt;[[apical pore]]&lt;/I&gt;, occurs on the ventral episome (Text-Figure 153B-C) or at the apex (Text-Figure 153D).
