brezovica (Borza, 1972) comb. nov. Palinosphaera brezovica Borza, 1972, p.148,150, figs.36-42. Holotype: Borza, 1972, figs.37. Originally Palinosphaera, subsequently (and now) Pithonella. The combination Pithonella brezovica is proposed here because the genus Palinosphaera is now considered to be a taxonomic junior synonym of Pithonella. Age: Campanian.
