"?diffringens" (de Lapparent, 1918, p.21-22, pl.2, fig.1; pl.3, figs.1-2) Vogler, 1941, p.283. Holotype: information not available. Combination not validly published: generic name not validly published. NOW Lagena (Appendix A). Originally (and now) Lagena (Appendix A), subsequently Stomiosphaera (combination not validly published). Questionable assignment: Dufour (1968, p.1948). In proposing this combination Vogler (1941, p.283) gave the citation "Stomiosphaera cf. diffringens". Age: Late Cretaceous? (according to Vogler, 1941, "Inhalt" and p.283).
