"crassigranulosa" Jain and Millepied, 1973, p.28.  Name not validly published: no illustration.  Jain and Millepied (1973, p.28) proposed this species, citing their pl.25, fig.25 as holotype.  However, there is no such illustration in their publication and no other figure is captioned as Subtilisphaera crassigranulosa.  This name was listed incorrectly as valid in pre-1998 editions of this index.  Age: Aptian.
