Holotype: Duxbury, 1977, pl.11, figs.1,6; text-fig.3; Jan du Chêne et al., 1986a, pl.111, figs.9-10; and Fensome et al., 1995, figs.1-2 - p.1511. Originally (and now) Athigmatocysta, subsequently Endoscrinium, thirdly Scriniodinium. Harding (1990b, p.28) retained this species in Athigmatocysta. Age: Late Berriasian-mid Barremian.
