CALCIODINELLUM Deflandre, 1947b, p.1781-1782. Emendation: Janofske and Karwath, 2000, p.100. Calcareous dinoflagellate genus. Taxonomic junior synonym: Sphaerodinella, by implication in Janofske and Karwath (2000, p.100), who transferred the type, Sphaerodinella albatrosiana, to Calciodinellum. Type: Deflandre, 1947b, figs.1-2, as Calciodinellum operosum.
