"asterium" Eaton, 1976, p.273, pl.11, figs.7-10. Holotype: Eaton, 1976, pl.11, figs.7-8. NOW Melitasphaeridium. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently (and now) Melitasphaeridium. Age: Mid Eocene (see Aubry, 1986).
