Originally Hystrichosphaeridium oligacanthum subsp. granulatum, subsequently Baltisphaeridium oligacanthum subsp. granulatum (Appendix A), thirdly Cleistosphaeridium? oligacanthum subsp. granulatum, fourthly (and now) Surculosphaeridium? granulatum.
