jiaboi (Fensome et al., 1990) comb. nov. Dictyotidium jiaboi Fensome et al., 1990, p.195. Holotype: Jiabo, 1978, pl.41, fig.17. Originally Dictyotidium reticulatum Jiabo (name illegitimate; Appendix A), subsequently Dictyotidium jiaboi (Appendix A), thirdly Pyxidinopsis reticulata (name illegitimate), fourthly (and now) Pyxidinopsis jiaboi. Dictyotidium jiaboi is a substitute name for Dictyotidium reticulatum Jiabo, 1978, p.111, pl.41, figs.13-17. The combination Pyxidinopsis jiaboi is proposed here since Pan Zhaoren in Xu Jinli et al. (1997, p.72) proposed the transfer of Dictyotidium reticulatum Jiabo to Pyxidinopsis. Age: Late Eocene-Early Oligocene.
Parent: Pyxidinopsis
