(Appendix A). Originally Pentagonium Snopková and Samuel (generic name illegitimate), subsequently (and now) Angularia? (Appendix A). Following I.C.B.N. Article 55.1, the species name Pentagonium obidum is validly published even though the generic name Pentagonium Snopková and Samuel is illegitimate. Age: Late Eocene (Priabonian).
