"hansonianum" (Traverse, 1955, p.77-79, pl.13, fig.147) Lentin and Williams, 1973, p.105.  Holotype: Traverse, 1955, pl.13, fig.147; Traverse, 1994, pl.1, fig.1.  NOW Saeptodinium.  Originally Peridinium (Appendix B), subsequently Palaeoperidinium, thirdly (and now) SaeptodiniumEvitt (1974, p.4) indicated that this species has affinities with the modern species Peridinium limbatum (Stokes, 1887) Lemmermann, 1899.  Age: latest Oligocene (mid Early Miocene, according to Traverse, 1994).
