Holotype: Wetzel, 1933a, pl.2, fig.4; Lejeune-Carpentier, 1946, fig.2; Lejeune-Carpentier and Sarjeant, 1981, pl.1, figs.3-4; text-fig.3. Combination not validly published: generic name not validly published until 1967. NOW Cribroperidinium. Originally Peridinium (Appendix B), subsequently Palaeoperidinium (combination not validly published), thirdly (and now) Cribroperidinium. Age: Senonian.
