Questionable assignment: Lentin in Lentin and Williams (1989, p.282); Below (1990, p.66) as a "nomen dubium". Lentin in Lentin and Williams (1989, p.282), after examining the holotype, concluded that this species is not a dinoflagellate. Age: Late Kimmeridgian-Berriasian.
