Originally (and now) Palaeostomocystis, subsequently Cladopyxidium (combination illegitimate). This name was not validly published in Deflandre (1935, caption to pl.9, fig.13; 1936a, caption to fig.133 - p.77) since no description was provided. Age: Late Cretaceous.
