<B>Diagnosis:</B>Peridiniaceans in which the <I>[[episomal]]</I> <I>[[tabulation]]</I> is <I>[[bipesioid]]</I> and the <I>[[Kofoid]]</I> second <I>[[anterior intercalary plate]]</I> is <I>[[hexa]]</I> (i.e. six-sided).  The <I>[[cyst]]</I> <I>[[wall]]</I> includes a <I>[[Calcareou|calcareous]]</I> layer or layers.  The <I>[[archeopyle]]</I> is centred about the <I>[[apical]]</I> region.<BR>
