<B><I>neista</I></B> [[Duxbury, 1980]], p.112&ndash;113, pl.2, figs.8&ndash;9; text-fig.5.&nbsp; Holotype: [[Duxbury, 1980]], pl.2, figs.8&ndash;9; text-fig.5; [[Pourtoy, 1988]], pl.4, figs.4&ndash;5,7&ndash;9.&nbsp; Originally (and now) <I>Aprobolocysta</I>, subsequently <I>[[Necrobroomea neista|Necrobroomea]]</I>.&nbsp; [[Lentin and Williams, 1993|Lentin and Williams (1993]], p.31) retained this species in <I>Aprobolocysta</I>.&nbsp; [[Duxbury, 1980|Duxbury (1980]]) cited the epithet as "<I>neistosa</I>" but indicated that it was based on the Greek adjective "neistos".&nbsp; According to the I.C.N., taxon names are to be treated as Latin; thus under Article 60.12, this epithet should be rendered as "<I>neista</I>", in agreement with the feminine gender of the generic name.&nbsp; The neuter form  would be "<I>neistum</I>" and the masculine form "<I>neistus</I>".&nbsp; Age: Barremian.
