<nowiki>*</nowiki><B><I>minutissima</I></B> ([[Colom, 1935]], p.12, pl.2, fig.8; text-fig.4a [four specimens]) [[Nowak, 1968]], p.304.&nbsp; Holotype not designated.&nbsp; Originally <I>[[Fibroaesphaerae minutissima|Fibroaesphaerae]]</I> (generic name not validly published; Appendix A), subsequently <I>[[Stomiosphaera minutissima|Stomiosphaera]]</I>, thirdly (and now) <I>Colomisphaera</I>, fourthly <I>[[Schizosphaerella minutissima Appendix A|Schizosphaerella]]</I>.&nbsp; [[Fensome and Williams, 2004|Fensome and Williams (2004]]) considered this name to be not validly published because a type was not designated.&nbsp; However, [[Elbr&#228;chter et al., 2008|Elbr&#228;chter et al. (2008]], p.1298) implied that it can be considered validly published as it was proposed under the I.C.Z.N.&nbsp; [[Elbr&#228;chter et al., 2008|Elbr&#228;chter et al. (2008]], p.1299) effectively retained this species in <I>Colomisphaera</I>.&nbsp; Age: Late Early Jurassic.
