(1989c]], p.497) &mdash; however, [[Head et al., 1992|Head et al. (1992]], p.163) retained <I>Cyclopsiella granosa</I>.&nbsp; Taxonomic junior synonym: <I>[[Cyclopsiella spiculosa Appendix A|Cyclopsiella spiculosa]]</I> (Appendix A), according to [[Matsuoka and Head, 1992|Matsuoka and Head (1992]], p.170).&nbsp; This combination was not validly published in [[Head et al., 1989c|Head et al. (1989c]], p.497), since these authors did not accept <I>Cyclopsiella granosa</I> to be the correct name.&nbsp; Age: early-middle Miocene.
