(1996]], p.1479).&nbsp; Nomenclatural junior synonym: <I>[[Neofentonia Appendix A|Neofentonia]]</I> (Appendix A).&nbsp; [[&#214;zdikmen, 2009|&#214;zdikmen (2009]], p.234) considered <I>Fentonia</I> [[Bailey and Hogg, 1995]] to be illegitimate because it is a junior homonym of <I>Fentonia</I> [[Butler, 1881|Butler 1881]]; however, <I>Fentonia</I> [[Butler, 1881|Butler 1881]] is an animal and under the I.C.N. it does not pre-empt <I>Fentonia</I> Bailey and Hogg.&nbsp; Type: [[Smelror, 1987]], fig.4G, as <I>[[Parvocysta bjaerkei]]</I>.
