"<I><B>cephalum</B></I>" [[Sah et al., 1970]], p.147, pl.2, figs.22&ndash;23.&nbsp; Holotype: [[Sah et al., 1970]], pl.2, fig.22.&nbsp; <B>Taxonomic senior synonym</B>: <I>[[Xanthidium tubiferum var. complex Appendix A|Xanthidium tubiferum]]</I> var. <I>[[Xanthidium tubiferum var. complex Appendix A|complex]]</I> (as <I>Oligosphaeridium</I>) <I>complex</I>, according to [[Lejeune-Carpentier and Sarjeant, 1981|Lejeune-Carpentier and Sarjeant (1981]], p.9) and, [[Jain, 1982|Jain (1982]], p.52).&nbsp; Fauconnier and Cornu in [[Fauconnier and Masure, 2004|Fauconnier and Masure (2004]], p.403) listed this as a problematic species but apparently accepted the synonymy cited above.&nbsp; Age: Late Cretaceous.
