"subsp. <I><B>dameryense</B></I>" ([[Dorning, 1981]], p.188, pl.2, fig.6) [[Fensome et al., 1990]], p.384.&nbsp; Holotype: [[Dorning, 1981]], pl.2, fig.6.&nbsp; <B>NOW</B> <I>[[Dilatisphaera williereae subsp. dameryensis Appendix A|Dilatisphaera williereae]]</I> subsp. <I>[[Dilatisphaera williereae subsp. dameryensis Appendix A|dameryensis]]</I>.&nbsp; Originally <I>[[Dilatisphaera dameryensis Appendix A|Dilatisphaera dameryensis]]</I> (Appendix A), subsequently <I>Palaeohystrichosphaeridium willierae</I> subsp. <I>dameryense</I>, thirdly (and now) <I>[[Dilatisphaera williereae subsp. dameryensis Appendix A|Dilatisphaera williereae]]</I> subsp. <I>[[Dilatisphaera williereae subsp. dameryensis Appendix A|dameryensis]]</I>.&nbsp; The combination <I>Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae</I> subsp. <I>dameryense</I> was not validly published in [[Eiserhardt, 1986|Eiserhardt (1986]], p.182) since that author did not specify the taxonomic rank; he gave the citation "<I>Palaeohystrichosphaeridium williereae dameryensis</I>."
