"<I><B>WETZELIELLA</B></I> subgenus <I><B>RHOMBODINIUM</B></I>" ([[Gocht, 1955]], p.85) [[Alberti, 1961]], p.9.&nbsp; <B>NOW</B> <I>[[Rhombodinium]]</I>.&nbsp; Originally (and now) <I>[[Rhombodinium]]</I>, subsequently <I>[[Wetzeliella]]</I> subgenus <I>Rhombodinium</I>.&nbsp; [[Alberti, 1961|Alberti (1961]], p.9&ndash;11) assigned the following species in this subgenus: <I>[[Wetzeliella draco]]</I>, <I>[[Wetzeliella rhomboidea]]</I> and questionably <I>Wetzeliella minuscula.</I>  [[Wilson, 1967c|Wilson (1967c]], p.493) assigned the following species to this subgenus: <I>[[Wetzeliella waipawaensis]]</I>.&nbsp; [[Jan du Ch&#234;ne and Ch&#226;teauneuf, 1975|Jan du Ch&#234;ne and Ch&#226;teauneuf (1975]], p.30) assigned the following species to this subgenus: <I>[[Wetzeliella perforata]]</I>.&nbsp; Entries for these species are included under the genus <I>[[Wetzeliella]]</I>.&nbsp; Type: [[Gocht, 1955]], text-fig.1c, as <I>[[Rhombodinium draco]]</I>.
