Holotype: Benedek, 1972, pl.2, figs.1a-b; Benedek and Sarjeant, 1981, fig.2, nos.1-3; Jan du Chêne et al., 1986a, pl.11, figs.6-9. NOW Apteodinium. Originally (and now) Apteodinium, subsequently Emslandia. Taxonomic junior synonym: Apteodinium tectatum, according to Lucas-Clark (1987, p.178). Age: mid Oligocene.
