"microspinosum" Eisenack, 1954a, p.209-210, pl.1, fig.8. Holotype: Eisenack, 1954a, pl.1, fig.8. NOW Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A). Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently (and now) Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), thirdly Lophosphaeridium (Appendix A), fourthly Visbysphaera (Appendix A), fifthly Buedingiisphaeridium (combination not validly published; Appendix A). Taxonomic junior synonym: Baltisphaeridium listeri Kiryanov, 1978, an acritarch species, according to Le Hérissé (1989, p.210). Age: Silurian (Late Llandovery).
