Holotype: Wetzel, 1967a, pl.16, figs.8a-b; Sarjeant, 1980b, pl.1, figs.2-3; text-fig.4; Dietz et al., 1999, text-fig.5c. Originally Gonyaulax (Appendix B), subsequently (and now) Meiourogonyaulax, thirdly Gonyaulacysta?, fourthly Lithodinia, fifthly Lithodinia?. This species is here retained in Meiourogonyaulax following the retention of the genus by Riding and Helby (2001d, p.81,83). Age: Late Bathonian.
