(2009]], p.66) retained both taxa.&nbsp; Motile equivalent: <I>Gonyaulax spinifera</I> complex, according to [[Matsuoka et al., 1989|Matsuoka et al. (1989]], p.94).&nbsp; Age: Miocene.
