In the Kofoid tabulation system, a plate posterior to, and contiguous with, the cingulum. The same term and definition applies in the Eaton tabulation system and is essentially equivalent to a postequatorial plate in the Taylor-Evitt tabulation system and a plate of the H-series in the Edwards tabulation system.
