Originally Ceratiopsis (generic name illegitimate), subsequently (and now) Cerodinium. Following I.C.N. Article 55.1, the species name Ceratiopsis fusiformis is validly published even though the generic name Ceratiopsis is illegitimate. Age: Paleocene.
