Originally Oodnadattia, subsequently (and now) Dinopterygium. Taxonomic senior synonym: Dinopterygium cladoides, according to Clarke and Verdier (1967, p.36) — however, Stover and Evitt (1978, p.205) retained Dinopterygium tuberculatum. Taxonomic junior synonyms: Oodnadattia cooksoniae and Leptodinium? micropunctatum, both according to Below (1981a, p.107) — however, Lentin and Williams (1981, p.173) retained Leptodinium? micropunctatum. Age: Albian.
