Originally Leptodinium subtile subsp. pectinigerum, subsequently Hystrichogonyaulax pectinigera, thirdly (and now) Gonyaulacysta pectinigera, fourthly Leptodinium pectinigerum. Jan du Chêne et al. (1986a, p.131) retained this species in Gonyaulacysta. Age: early Bathonian.
