Holotype: Deflandre, 1937b, pl.15 (al. pl.12), fig.3; Eisenack and Kjellström, 1972, p.415; Fensome et al., 1995, fig.1 — p.1705. NOW Pervosphaeridium. Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), thirdly Exochosphaeridium?, fourthly (and now) Pervosphaeridium. Taxonomic junior synonym: Hystrichosphaeridium (as Exochosphaeridium?) palmatum Deflandre and Courteville, according to Yun Hyesu (1981, p.29). Age: Late Cretaceous.
