Combination not validly published: not accepted as a correct name by its author. Originally Sentusidinium, subsequently Pilosidinium (combination not validly published). Taxonomic senior synonym: Leiosphaeridia (now Pilosidinium) asymmetrica, according to Courtinat in Fauconnier and Masure (2004, p.447,449). Courtinat in Fauconnier and Masure (2004, p.447,449) proposed this combination while simultaneously considering it to be a junior synonym. Age: early Kimmeridgian–Tithonian.
