NOW Systematophora. Originally Polystephanosphaera, subsequently (and now) Systematophora. Taxonomic senior synonym: Hystrichosphaeridium (as and now Surculosphaeridium?) vestitum, according to Courtinat (1989, p.173) — however, Stancliffe and Sarjeant (1990, p.209) retained Polystephanosphaera (as and now Systematophora) valensii. Age: late Oxfordian.
