alata Backhouse, 1987, p.211-212, figs.5A-D,9A-D.  Holotype: Backhouse, 1987, figs.5A-B,9A-B; Fensome et al., 1996, figs.1-2,5-6 - p.2019.  Originally (and now) Aprobolocysta, subsequently Necrobroomea.  Lentin and Williams (1993, p.31) retained this species in Aprobolocysta.  Age: Mid Hauterivian-early Barremian.
