Taxonomic senior synonym at specific rank: Hystrichosphaeridium (now Minisphaeridium) latirictum according to Fensome et al. (2009, p.44). Originally Cordosphaeridium inodes subsp. minimum, subsequently Cordosphaerdium minimum. Age: early Eocene.
