"cornigera" Wetzel, 1933b, p.39, pl.5, fig.6 ex Deflandre, 1937b, p.66.  Holotype: Wetzel, 1933b, pl.5, fig.6.  NOW Spiniferites?.  Originally Hystrichosphaera, subsequently Spiniferites, thirdly (and now) Spiniferites?.  This name was not validly published in Wetzel (1933b) since the generic name was not validly published until 1937.  Age: Late Cretaceous.
