ovale (Cookson and Eisenack, 1970a, p.145, pl.13, fig.8) Lentin and Williams, 1976, p.105.  Holotype: Cookson and Eisenack, 1970a, pl.13, fig.8.  Originally Ascodinium, subsequently (and now) OvoidiniumLentin and Williams (1989, p.270) retained this species in Ovoidinium.  Age: Albian–Cenomanian.
