(2014, figs.4-5).&nbsp; <B>Combination not validly published</B>: basionym not fully referenced.&nbsp; <B>NOW </B><I>[[Scrippsiella erinaceus Appendix B|Scrippsiella]]</I>.&nbsp; Originally <I>[[Rhabdosphaera erinacea Appendix A|Rhabdosphaera]]</I> (Appendix A), subsequently <I>Rhabdothorax</I> (combination not validly published), thirdly (and now) <I>[[Scrippsiella erinaceus Appendix B|Scrippsiella]]</I> (Appendix B).&nbsp; Taxonomic senior synonym: <I>Glenodinium</I> (now <I>[[Scrippsiella trochoidea Appendix B|Scrippsiella]]</I>) <I>trochoideum</I> (Appendix B, under <I>[[Scrippsiella erinaceus Appendix B|Scrippsiella]]</I>), according to [[Janofske, 2000|Janofske (2000]], p.180) - however, Kretschmann et al. (2014, p.403) retained this species, as <I>[[Scrippsiella erinaceus Appendix B|Scrippsiella]]</I>.&nbsp; This combination was also not validly published in [[Kamptner, 1958|Kamptner (1958]], p.89) since the generic name was not validly published.&nbsp; Age: extant.
