(1969]], p.15).&nbsp; Taxonomic senior synonym: <I>[[Areoligera senonensis]]</I>, according to [[Lejeune-Carpentier and Sarjeant, 1981|Lejeune-Carpentier and Sarjeant (1981]], p.15) - however, [[Sarjeant, 1984c|Sarjeant (1984c]], p.130) retained <I>Cleistosphaeridium</I> (as <I>[[Achomosphaera danica|Achomosphaera]]</I>) <I>danicum</I>.&nbsp; This combination was not validly published in [[Davey et al., 1966|Davey et al. (1966]], p.170), since those authors did not fully reference the basionym.&nbsp; Age: Paleocene.
