"hansonianum" (Traverse, 1955, p.77–79, pl.13, fig.147) Lentin and Williams, 1973, p.105.  Holotype: Traverse, 1955, pl.13, fig.147; Traverse, 1994, pl.1, fig.1.  NOW Saeptodinium.  Originally Peridinium (Appendix B), subsequently Palaeoperidinium, thirdly (and now) SaeptodiniumEvitt (1974, p.4) indicated that this species has affinities with the modern species Peridinium limbatum (Stokes, 1887) Lemmermann, 1899.  Age: latest Oligocene (middle early Miocene, according to Traverse, 1994).
