Family Symbiodiniaceae

Citation: Symbiodiniaceae ERROR bib658.htm for Fensome et al., 1993b.

Diagnosis:Suessialeans in which the principal life-cycle stage comprises coccoid cells living as symbionts within the cells of other organisms. A motile biflagellate cell is rare and possesses amphiesmal vesicles typically arranged in seven latitudinal series. Dinosporin cysts are not produced.

Type genus:Extant genus:

Parent: Order Suessiales
