"?monacanthum" (Deunff, 1951, p.323; text-fig.4) Deunff, 1954b, p.305-307. Holotype: Deunff, 1951, text-fig.4. Combination not validly published: basionym not fully referenced and name not clearly used. NOW Deunffia (Appendix A). Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Veryhachium (combination not validly published), thirdly (and now) Deunffia (Appendix A). Questionable assignment: Deunff (1959, p.29). This combination was also not validly published in Deunff (1959, p.29) and Cramer (1963, p.215), since these authors did not fully reference the basionym. Age: Mid Ordovician.
