Holotype: Damassa, 1979b, pl.3, figs.7–11; Fauconnier and Masure, 2004, pl.2, figs.7–11. Taxonomic senior synonym: Agerasphaera (now Eisenackia) margarita, according to Damassa and Harland in Lentin and Williams (1989, p.10). On proposing this combination, Quattrocchio and Sarjeant did not acknowledge its earlier proposed synonymy with Agerasphaera margarita; hence, we continue to follow the synonymy proposed by Damassa and Harland in Lentin and Williams (1989, p.10). Age: early Paleocene.
