Name illegitimate — nomenclatural senior synonym: Fromea elongata, since Prauss (1989, p.20) included the holotype of Fromea elongata in synonymy with Phallocysta minuta. Substitute name: Phallocysta subconica. Originally Phallocysta minuta (name illegitimate), subsequently Phallocysta subconica. Age: late Toarcian–early Bajocian.
