Originally Hystrichosphaeridium, subsequently Baltisphaeridium (Appendix A), thirdly (and now) Multiplicisphaeridium. Sarjeant and Vavrdova (1997, p.6) considered this species to represent muellerisphaerids. Age: Devonian (late Givetian).
