Taxonomic junior synonym: Herendeenia, according to Stover and Evitt (1978, p.280) — however, Stover and Helby (1987b, p.149,152) retained Herendeenia. Type: Cookson and Eisenack, 1958, pl.8, fig.8, as Omatia montgomeryi.
