Holotype: Beju, 1971, pl.4, figs.4a–b; text-fig.5; Eisenack and Kjellström, 1975b, p.792d; Fensome et al., 1995, figs.1–4 — p.1679. NOW Carpathodinium. Originally Meiourogonyaulax?, subsequently Lithodinia?, thirdly (and now) Carpathodinium. Questionable assignment: Gocht (1976, p.334). Age: Callovian–early Oxfordian.
