"granifera" Fütterer, 1978, p.715, pl.2, figs.1-12. Emendation: Janofske and Karwath, 2000, p.107-108, as Leonella granifera. Holotype: Fütterer, 1978, pl.2, figs.1,4,7. NOW Leoonella. Originally Thoracosphaera, subsequently Obliquipithonella, thirdly Orthopithonella, fourthly (and now) Leonella. Age: Late Pliocene-Pleistocene.
